First steps

Art Group

The Lansdowne Art Group meets on Thursdays from 10 to12 midday in the Church Hall. Average attendance -15 artists of all levels of experience, using a variety of mediums from watercolour to oils. The class is free, but members do contribute to the heating, lighting and refreshments. Everyone is welcome. Send an email using the contact page for more infomation.

Girl Crusaders

CGU the operating name of Girl Crusader Union Trust Limited is an inter-denominational organisation working among girls in the world today. It’s aim is to present Christianity in a clear and relevant way. GCU holidays take place at Easter and Summer. Activity days, reunions, regional weekends enable groups to enjoy fun activities together. The West Norwood group meets each week during the school term here at Lansdowne. Juniors aged 5 – 11 meet after school 3.30 – 5.00pm each Thursday Seniors 6.15 – 7.30pm.

Women of Faith

We meet every 4th Saturday of the month during term time.

Rainbow Tots

Rainbow Tots is held every Tuesday morning in term time. Our aim is to provide a small and safe environment for children to play in and for parents and carers to meet up with each other. In each session we try to include the following:-

10:00am-10:45am floor toys, books & free play
10:45am-11:00am drink & biscuit time
11:00am-11:15am song time
11:15am-11:45am craft time
11:45am tidy up time & close

Each parent/carer is responsible for their children throughout the morning and are encouraged to take an active part with the children.

The cost of the morning session is £1

Audio and Media

Lansdowne's Audio and media ministry is aiming to make sermons and other documents more accessible to a greater number of people. Services are recorded weekly and should be available online within a few days. Video's and other downloadable documents will be available soon.

Alpha Course

Over 2 million people in the UK and 10 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world. Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away. We run two course's each year and the latest infomation is on the events page.

First Steps is a course of 15 basic bible studies for new Christians and is a perfect follow-up to Alpha. We run First steps each year when Alpha isn't running. Studies look at Water Baptism, Forgiveness, Communion, Being Filled with the Holy Spirit and lots more infomation for new Christians. For the latest info email Malcolm through the contact page
